The Fastpitch Shop was established to eliminate the inefficiency inherent in equipment selection. For too long, the market has been governed by subjective marketing and anecdotal evidence. We operate on a single premise: physics does not lie.
We are a collective of data analysts and coaches. We do not review bats based on feel; we audit them based on exit velocity, barrel compression, and moment of inertia.
DECODING THE FPS SCORE
Vector A: Exit Velocity
Measured via radar and launch monitors. This metric isolates the "trampoline effect" of the barrel, calculating the speed of the ball immediately upon contact relative to swing speed.
Vector B: Integrity
Stress testing measures how long a bat maintains compression standards. We analyze the composite weave to predict longevity under high-velocity impact.
Vector C: Sweet Spot
We map the barrel to determine the surface area that produces optimal energy transfer. A larger effective barrel area equates to higher consistency on mishits.
